Holiday Food & Toy Drive a Success!

Can Man Dan wrapped up his final day of camping out in the cold on Christmas Eve and we are so excited to announce that his tenth annual Holiday Food & Toy Drive was a huge success! Dan spent a grand total of 22 days out in the cold, over 500 hours, to ensure that no child is left without a hot meal to eat and a present to open up on Christmas Day!

Thanks to the generosity of Edmonton ("the city of champions" as Dan would say), the following astounding numbers helped support countless families and children struggling this year:

 

• Over 60,000 pounds of food for Edmonton's Food Bank
• $100,000 in brand new toys for 630 CHED Santas Anonymous
• $30,000 in brand new toys for the Can Man Dan Foundation (yours truly!)

Although the holidays may look different for many families this year, the Christmas spirit is definitely alive and well, and we are incredibly grateful for everyone who came out to say hi to Can Man Dan and give generously.
